Collage - Map G

Map G in the abstract cartography collection, is a combination of paper, paint and found materials. A purely imaginary location and yet reminiscent of old paper travel map were vacationers could plot their course with a marker. Mapping has become an art form, not just locations ,train tracks and highways but as urban art enhanced with graffiti. Included in Sarah Riley's "Practical Mixed-Media Techniques." Currently at Blanchard Gallery, Hallowell, ME through 3/21/25.
